The episode failed to discuss the essential role private clinics play in providing immediate care amidst long NHS wait times. Other than the reporters own unreliable and questionable assessments, the episode did not present any confirmed examples of where misdiagnosis and/or harm to a patient has occurred. This discrepancy could have influenced the NHS consultation and diagnosis. Mike Smith, knew the author was an investigative reporter, unlike private clinics. The episode didn't stress this, possibly creating false impressions.
